1. The most asked question on the message board is “who’s next?” In reference to commitments. It happens on a regular basis whether it’s moments after a commitment takes place or if it’s been a month. Alabama hauled in its first commitment in August on Friday when Kyle Edwards announced his commitment.
The numbers continue to get tighter in the Tide's class. It may say 23 commitments, but I will continue to emphasize Javier Morton is not expected in this class. So the number is really at 22. The number will certainly grow, but the spots are incredibly limited at this point.
You never know when a commitment may pop out of nowhere. However, the one commitment we do expect to happen soon is Joel Williams on September 9. The four-star cornerback from Baton Rouge earned an offer from Alabama in June. He has been an Alabama lean since. It will come as a MAJOR surprise if Williams commits elsewhere.
