Can Nick Saban bring Alabama its fifth national championship in the last nine years? Alabama will play Clemson in the Sugar Bowl on January 1 in New Orleans. The two teams have participated in two epic back-to-back national championship games and now will face for the right to play in the game.
Alabama was moments away from a championship a year ago. Injuries have played a big part in the Tide's rebuilt defense this year. Defensive Coordinator Jeremy Pruitt also accepted the head coaching position at Tennessee. Pruitt will coach in the playoff, but how much focus has been on the game plan?
This might be Saban's best coaching job if he gets by Clemson and then defeats Georgia or Oklahoma in the national championship in Atlanta.
