Four Alabama players declare for NFL draft
Four Alabama players - Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Cyrus Kouandjio, Jeoffery Pagan and Adrian Hubbard - announced Thursday that they will enter the NFL draft.
Kouandjio, the starting left tackle, is rated as the No. 21 overall prospect according to ESPN's Scouts, Inc. He struggled in his final college game as Oklahoma tallied seven sacks in the Sugar Bowl.
"My experience through this program was just awesome," Kouandjio said during a news conference. "Made a lot of friends, learned a lot."
Clinton-Dix, a free safety, is Scouts, Inc.'s No. 16 overall prospect. Despite a two-game suspension stemming from an NCAA violation, Clinton-Dix finished third on the team with 52 tackles and was tied for the team lead with two interceptions.
Anchoring an active rotation of defensive ends, Pagan totaled 34 tackles and two sacks. He is the No. 7 defensive end and the No. 79 overall player in the draft class according to Scouts, Inc. equaling a third-round grade in May's draft.
"Just me coming here and have an opportunity to play here just did wonders in my life," Pagan said.
Hubbard brings NFL size (6-foot-6, 252) but didn't match with his production in 2013. Hubbard tallied 33 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. Adrian has already graduated from Alabama with a degree in business management. Hubbard is the ninth-rated outside linebacker and the No. 80 overall player
The NFL draft is May 8-10 in New York City.
