Clinton Dix will not play vs. Kentucky
Alabama coach Nick Saban siad that junior safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix will not play in Alabama's game against Kentucky on Saturday.
"Ha Ha is suspended until he make an announcement that he's not," Saban said. "We would tell you if anything changed."
Clinton-Dix was suspended indefinitely on Oct. 2 for a violation of team rules. On Oct. 3 TideSports.com reported that the suspension was due to accepting money from Alabama strength and conditioning assistant coach Corey Harris.
Clinton-Dix, a 6-foot-1, 208-pound junior who has played in 31 games and made 14 starts in his Alabama career, ranks second on the team with 24 tackles and two pass breakups this season. The Orlando, Fla. native made a crucial fourth-down stop in the first quarter of Alabama's 25-0 win over Ole Miss.
He was suspended for Alabama's game against Georgia State.
