TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama completed the sixth of 15 spring practices Monday in preparation for the first scrimmage of the spring this Saturday. Here are some observations from the media viewing period:

*** Suspended receivers Michael Bowman, Ronald Carswell and Duron Carter were not at practice. None of the three have practiced since spring drills opened March 9.

*** Running backs Blake Sims and Eddie Lacy continue to be withheld from contact, as does offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio.

*** Former UA linemen Alfred McCullough and Josh Chapman were among Monday's practice visitors.

*** Jesse Williams continues to work inside at the nose position on defense.

*** Wide receiver DeAndrew White was limited in Monday's practice, being withheld from drills, but was not in a non-contact jersey.
