List growing for Georgia three-star DT
Mike Thornton is one of the most sought after recruits in the in the Peach State.
The 6-foot-2, 280-pound three-star defensive tackle from Stone Mountain, Ga., has double digit offers with new ones rolling in on almost a daily basis.
"A couple of new schools have stepped in and they are coming hard," Thornton said. "The schools that have stepped in lately are Michigan, Mississippi State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Georgia and Alabama."
Thornton's impressive list includes Mississippi State, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, N.C. State, Penn State, South Carolina and Louisiana Tech among others. But Thornton is not ready to name any favorites from his ever growing list of offers.
"Everybody is still about the same," Thornton said. "I am still trying to evaluate everybody."
Mississippi State is one of the more recent schools to send an offer his way. The Bulldogs appear to have left a good impression on Thornton from what he has seen thus far.
