Henry County on a roll

Henry County High School, led by Georgia Tech wide receiver commit Chris Jackson and top junior quarterback Drew Little, has won six straight games and find themselves in prime position for the playoffs with only two regular season games left on the schedule. Jackson and Little are having big years for the Warhawks.

Little, who recently received his first offer from Georgia Tech, had a phenomenal game in a 38-29 win against Perry on Sept. 28.

"Drew threw for 514 yards," said Henry County offensive coordinator Rex Robertson. "The state record was 524 yards and we had a 40-yarder called back which would have broken the record. We weren't aware of the record at the time. The last two series we didn't throw at all. We were trying to get first downs on the ground and protect the lead. We wouldn't have thrown it anyway."

Henry County had three players go over the 100 yards receiving mark in that game and nearly had a fourth.
