Recruits impressed

The number one ranked LSU football program not only showed a national television audience a whale of a football game Saturday night, it also gave many recruits who were visiting something to think about.

Les Miles and his coaching staff hosted nine official recruiting visitors this weekend and dozens of unofficial visitors.

When it came to the Tigers dramatic 28-24 victory over the Gators, many top prospects made some definitive statements.

Rivals.com four-star offensive lineman Clay Spencer of Parkview Baptist and a LSU commitment said, "I thought it was a great team win. I think it was a great game."
