Solid offensive start for Henry County

Many eyes will be watching Henry County this fall as the Warhawks have several Division I prospects, including Georgia Tech commitment Chris Jackson, senior Alakon Thomas and junior quarterback Drew Little and wide receiver Jamal Patterson. Offensive coordinator Rex Robertson updated Rivals.com on the early season progress of some of those standouts.

Henry County is 2-1 and coming off an open date last weekend. They lost a heartbreaker to Dutchtown in the opener, 41-36, but have rebounded to win two in a row over Jones County (51-43) and Central Macon (33-28).

Drew Little, a Class of 2009 quarterback prospect, is off to a good start.

"I don't want to jinx him, but we've been very proud of Drew," Robertson said. "He has 10 touchdowns and no interceptions. His reads have been on the money. If he can continue on the pace he's on, he's going to have a special year."
