Harris done for summer

Luke Sanders, Ali Highsmith and Darry Beckwith constitute one of the best linebacking corps in the Southeastern Conference.

But they will not be here forever.

Looking to replenish their linebacking depth for the next four years, the Tigers are hot on the trail of Alabama product Jerrell Harris.

The 6-3, 220-pound outside linebacker is a four-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. Rated as the seventh-best outside linebacker in the country and the eighth-best overall player in the State of Alabama, Harris is coming off of a junior season that saw him make 125 tackles.

Sporting over 15 offers, including one from Les Miles' staff, Harris said that he is enjoying the recruiting process.

"Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to camp at LSU this July," Harris said.
