Love returns from Tuscaloosa
One of the nation's finest prospects for 2008 visited the Capstone this week for a self-described day of relaxation and catching up with the Tide coaches.
In fact, the afternoon was so laid-back for Mountain Brook five-star offensive lineman Tyler Love, Tide assistant Kevin Steele called it a "chill" day.
"Coach Steele told me and Barrett Jones that the day was not going to be about recruiting us," said Love, who is Rivals.com's 27th-ranked player nationally. "He knows we have been to Tuscaloosa numerous times, and he just wanted the day to be about us getting more comfortable with the campus and the atmosphere. Our discussions were all just laid back and less to do with football than just everyday stuff."
While Love was in town during the Tide's first summer camp, his viewing of the day's activities was minimal.
