Rivals100 athlete likes UA

Electrifying athletes who can project at numerous positions are a highly valued commodity, especially in the South. This year one of the best and most sought after is Vigor High School standout Burton Scott who boasts offers from some of the country's top programs already.

Scott, 5-foot-11, 194-pounds, boasts early offers from Alabama, Auburn and Clemson among others and the Rivals100 member said the Tide has made a good impression to date.

"I like Alabama a lot. I went up for an unofficial visit earlier this year and it went good. Coach Saban and his staff are going to do a good job and I know Mobile is more of a focus for them," Scott said. "The visit was nice and I liked meeting all the coaches face-to-face. Coach Thompson is recruiting me and he's a cool guy. He stays in touch with me and I call to catch up with him all the time. He's done a good job. All the coaches were really cool.
