Georgia playmaker lands UA offer
The Crimson Tide has already swooped into Norcross High School for one playmaker when Darius Hanks signed with Alabama on signing day last month. That may mark just the beginning of the Tide's efforts at this talent-rich school in suburban Atlanta. The latest 2008 prospect to receive an Alabama offer is one of the top playmakers in the state of Georgia for next year.
"Coach Saban gave me an offer on Tuesday," said receiver Brice Butler, who now sports offers from five SEC programs in addition to Florida, State, California, Louisville and Virginia Tech. "Coach Saban is the selling point for me at Alabama. They talked to me about how they want to change things and bring a winning attitude back to the school. They want me to be a part of their return to the top."
