Tech felt like home to Jackson

If you know where you want to attend college, why wait? That was the thinking of junior wide receiver Chris Jackson, who committed to Georgia Tech last week. Jackson, who attends Henry County High School south of Atlanta, knew that Tech had everything he was looking for. He loved the coaches, players and knew the education at Tech can't be beat.

Before recruiting really got heated, Jackson wanted it to be known that he's Tech bound. He didn't need to go through the whole process and take a lot of visits.

"I've been thinking about making an early commitment to Georgia Tech for a while," Jackson said. "All the guys there were nice. They made me feel like I was at home... I wanted to do something before Christmas and get it over with before everything else started.
