Releford slowed by thigh bruise

In the University of Alabama's win over Ole Miss at Coleman Coliseum two weeks ago, Trevor Releford shifted into hyperdrive at the end.

Tonight, Alabama hopes Releford can reach cruising speed.

Releford, the Crimson Tide point guard, scored 26 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer, in that 67-64 UA victory. But after a collision with Missouri guard Earnest Ross in Saturday's UA win over the Tigers, Releford suffered a deep bruise in his left thigh that slowed him in practice this week.
