Alabama drops triple OT game to Drexel

NEW YORK | Most of the crowd at Madison Square Garden had absolutely no preference who won - they just wanted it to end. This was bad news for Jimmie Taylor.

Thanks in part to the booing from a restless crowd that was largely there for the Duke-Arizona nightcap to follow, the Alabama freshman missed two free throws with 4 seconds left in triple overtime and the Crimson Tide trailing Drexel by two. A last-second miss by Trevor Releford sealed it for Drexel, and Alabama went down to an 85-83 defeat in the consolation game of the NIT Season Tip-Off tournament.
