Alabama can't avoid Auburn questions
With the 49-0 victory over Chattanooga in hand early at Bryant-Denny Stadium, No. 1-ranked University of Alabama could have easily abandoned its 24-hour rule and started to look ahead to its next matchup, at No. 6 Auburn.
Instead, the Crimson Tide completed the shutout and kept its record unblemished and national title hopes alive going into the Iron Bowl.
It was business as usual, and the 24-hour rule is still in effect. Alabama players get to celebrate for a day before looking to the next game.
