Daniels still waiting for results

Steven Daniels is one of Boston College's most highly regarded verbal commitments and Eagle fans have been anxiously awaiting his arrival for a long time now. With some time at Worcester Academy behind him Daniels is just waiting to find out whether he can enroll and play next year.

Before the fall semester ended at Worcester, Daniels did his standardized testing. The results of those tests will determine whether he is able to join the Eagles next year.

Rumors have abounded by as of right now it's all still up in the air.

"I'm still waiting on the results," Daniels told EagleAction.com this weekend. "I'm not going to find out until after my break is over."

The Ohio native, who claims to check in at 6-foot-1 and about 245 pounds right now, won't know anything until he sees those results but he's cautiously optimistic.

"I feel pretty good," he said. "I think I'm good. I think I'll know about a week or so (after they return to school)."

Daniels said he has been keeping in regular contact with the BC coaching staff. Of course, they're as interested as anyone in how the test went for him.

He was supposed to take his official visit to BC earlier this month but had to postpone those plans.

"I'll be up there sometime, though," he noted. "I don't know when but I'll be seeing it soon."

Daniels committed to BC last year coming out of high school in Ohio but embarked on a fifth year at Worcester.
