Ferentz visits Lohn
Kansas City defensive lineman Nathanael Lohn had two visitors from the University of Iowa on Wednesday night, head coach Kirk Ferentz and recruiting coordinator Eric Johnson. We caught up with the 6-foot-3, 265-pound Lohn to talk about the in-home visit from Iowa, where the Hawkeyes currently stand, when he might make a decision, and much more.
Q: How did your visit with Coach Ferentz go last night? Is it a little different having the head coach in for a visit?
LOHN: It is. It's pretty awesome. We had a very good visit last night. It was great to have Coach Ferentz over.
Q: Can you kind of take us through what all you did?
LOHN: Sure. Coach Ferentz and Coach Eric Johnson came by the house and we talked for a while. Then my head coach came over as well and they talked together. After that, we all went out to a burger place and had some burgers and talked some more until they had to go.
