Though already committed to Ohio State, one of the biggest challenges that awaited new head coach Urban Meyer was keeping the commitment of four-star running back Bri'onte Dunn. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect from Canton (Ohio) GlenOak spoke on the phone with Meyer shortly after Meyer took the job last week.

On Tuesday evening, the first step towards ensuring that Dunn would remain a part of Ohio State's 2012 class was taken as Dunn has scheduled an official visit to Columbus for the upcoming weekend.

"I will be making an official visit to Ohio State this weekend," said Dunn.

The upcoming weekend is expected to be a big one for Meyer and the Buckeyes as several committed prospects will be making their official visits as well as some big-time undecided targets such as Chicago (Ill.) Simeon four-star offensive tackle Jordan Diamond.

Dunn was at a high school basketball game when he was reached for a comment. BuckeyeGrove.com will be monitoring this ever-changing situation closely and will keep you informed.
