Bracy Still Looking at Options

Texas A&M has continued to target a select few players across the country to till their final few spots in the 2012 recruiting class. While it is likely that the remaining open spots could be filled with players from the defensive side of the ball, one player they have continued to show interest in is Orlando Boone wide receiver Marvin Bracy. The talented two-sport standout committed to in state power Florida State back in July but has continued to look around including a recent official visit to College Station.

Bracy's hectic schedule has limited his access to the media but AggieYell caught up with the football and track standout Tuesday evening via Facebook to squeeze in a quick Q&A session:

AY: Can you share some thoughts on your official visit to College Station recently?

Bracy: It went really well. They had everything in order and I enjoyed myself.

AY: Were you able to learn anything about the team or staff while you were on campus?

Bracy: Well, I wanted to know how I would be used and if I could even fit into their system. They said they pretty much would like to use me like they use number 25 on their team now. (Ryan Swope)

AY: Do you have any other visits lined up or any that you definitely want to take?

Bracy: Alabama and maybe LSU

AY: Does Texas A&M's recent acceptance into the Southeastern Conference in which they will play more games closer to your home give them a boost in your recruitment?

Bracy: Kind of but I don't really care what conference they are in. I was satisfied with their program.

AY: Did you get to visit the track program some while you were here?

Bracy: Yes, my visit was split.

AY: Do you have a time frame in which you would like to make a final decision by?

Bracy: Probably in December so that I can go into track this year with a clear head.

Bracy and his teammates have struggled out to a 1-4 start to the season but their 4 loses have come by a combined 19 points and they are very much still seen as a threat to compete for their district. AggieYell will continue to follow up with Bracy as he nears his final college decision.
