Sooners Looking Smarter Every Day

Annually college recruiting fans ask about the changes of players rankings during the summer but should Devante Harris make a push in Rivals.com's next rankings it's doubtful anyone - Sooner or otherwise - could ask how it happened.

After a strong showing at NIKE's 'The Opening' many wondered if he could keep up the pace at last week's 'Gridiron Kings' in Florida where some of the nation's top talent formed regional teams and competed for a 'national title'. Four interceptions and a defensive MVP trophy later and it's safe to say that the 5-foot-11, 160-pound prospect continues to erase any remaining doubts about his future as a Sooner.

"Yeah man, I clowned, I had four picks in three games. When I caught my first two, I just started getting in my zone," said, the nation's No. 30-ranked cornerback, Harris. "I was roaming the field at safety, that was all I was doing, we did our practices with me at safety."
