Coleman Seems to Fit Oklahoma's Plans

As Sooner fans watched speedsters Trey Franks and Roy Finch turn heads during the 2010 Sooner campaign it has become fairly evident that the Sooner coaching staff as well as coaches across the nation can all agree on one sentiment.

Speed kills.

This past weekend the Sooner coaching staff kept that idea in mind when they welcomed Richardson (Texas) Pearce athlete Corey Coleman to their junior day last weekend.

Coleman, heralded track star, was clocked as fast as a 4.28-seconds in the 40-yard dash at TheOldCoach.com's Five Star Performance Camp, says he spent most of his time with two Oklahoma assistants who left a lasting impression on the Lone Star State product.

"It went pretty good. I was able to hangout with their wide receiver coach Jay Norvell and their defensive back coach Willie Martinez as well as coach Bob Stoops," Coleman said.
