This thread was posted on Sunday, 5/27, but there's been so little response that I thought I might reword it. I just wanted to start a big recognition thread to all who have served our country to keep the rest of us safe: especially those who made the supreme sacrifice. I wish I could beam us to Arlington, Va. for paying respects; it is so beautiful, but the hills of white crosses tell a sad story indeed. I would like to pay a personal tribute to and I hope others will follow:
Lt. Col. Ira Mauzey, USAF, my uncle
May all who passed away in any war or confrontation be most blessed as with their families, and may those who were injured in battle but are still here among us, may the Lord keep you forever close and help you to lift your spirits unto him. Amen.
I hope you'll pay tribute to your loved ones.
