he apparently has a problem with them for reporting the Monday Night Football issue. He was wearing a Bama camo cap and singing a song he made up disparaging Fox News.

Hank Jr is awesome. If I have one complaint it's that the Bama cap was camo. Wearing camo when not in the woods = embarrassing. You wish he would take off Bama gear, and I just wish people wouldn't wear camo in public. At least he didn't have a deep sea fish hook on the brim...or did he? Then, I might agree with you. Camo + fish hook = certain brain damage...

He got what he deserved....calling Obama a "socialist." Amazes me how many of my conservative brethen say that when 99% of the time they have no bloody idea what socialism actually is. Hate socialism but for God sake know what it is people. Obama with all his faults is NOT a socialist.

Hmmmm.....lets see. Obama believes in big government where people become dependent and eventually become servants without liberty. You may not call it socialism but there's a word that comes to my mind.... it's called slavery.

As for Hank Jr. I saw the segment that morning he was on. The Fox and Friends crew tried to throw him a life preserver but he kept on talking. He sounded like an idiot and afterwards blamed Fox for not stopping him from talking. And yes, I hated that he had a Bama cap on. I somewhat agreed on what he was saying but he said it in a wrong way and he came off sounding stupid.

Since this was posted back in January, I doubt dcoursey will be coming back to answer this, so I throw out a question to all that come here: What is a Socialist? What were you taught about this, for lack of a better word, ideology and where it falls in the pseudo-political spectrum? No biggie, just some food for thought in this election year! 3dGrin (Sorry to ignore all the fuss about Hank...)
