Greenville, SC is a great town! Downtown is really happening. Every Thursday at 5 pm they shut down Main St. and have downtown alive (beer, wine and bands). Friday nights they shut down for Jazz night. Wednesdays they have a live band downtown by the Reedy River that is free. Its a pretty nice place I think you will enjoy it, If you run out of stuff to do there Montgomery is just 30 min up the road
