The annual A-Day game has become, for logistical purposes, a game-day event for the University of Alabama. From traffic flow and parking to pre-game events and ceremonies, the only thing missing is an SEC opponent. Here are a few A-Day facts and figures from BamaOnLine.com to make your spring trip to Bryant-Denny Stadium the best it can be:

Broadcast info
Television: ESPN, live (Broadcast team of Chris Fowler, Todd Blackledge, Wendi Nix).

Local radio: Crimson Tide Sports Network will handle the radio broadcast (95.3 FM in Tuscaloosa) with a team of Eli Gold, Phil Savage and Barry Krauss. Note: Per UA Sports Information, those who purchased Live Sports Radio headsets in 2008 will be able to listen to the A-Day broadcast using those same radios without a delay. New radios for 2009 will be available beginning in June.

Satellite radio: XM 200; Sirius 214.

A-Day quick facts
Kickoff: 2 p.m.

Bryant-Denny Stadium gates open: 11 a.m.

Format: A-Day consists of four 15-minute quarters with a running clock. The clock will be stopped only following scoring plays, penalties, and changes of possession. Regular clock rules will be used during the final minutes of the second quarter and the fourth quarter. Halftime will be 10 minutes long.

BOL events
Quad tailgate: As usual, BamaOnLine.com will have a tailgate event just off the quad, in front of Little Hall. An large, inflatable BOL tent makes the event easy to find and is a great way for subscribers to put faces with usernames.

Pre-game party: For the first time on A-Day, BOL is hosting an off-campus A-Day party at The Booth, which is re-opening this week at 504 21st Avenue. BOL's Chase Goodbread and Shane Youngblood will speak at the party, including a Q&A session, and there will be door prizes as well. Click here for more info.

Walk of Fame: The annual Walk of Fame ceremony will be held at 12:15 p.m. at Denny Chimes as 2008 permanent team captains - center Antoine Caldwell, safety
Rashad Johnson and quarterback John Parker Wilson, will have their hand prints and foot prints placed in cement at the base of Denny Chimes.

A-Club 7 on 7 Classic: The First Annual A-Club 7-on-7 Classic will be held prior to A-Day on Saturday, April 18 at noon at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Gates will open at 11 a.m. and players will be introduced at 11:30 a.m. The A-Club 7-on-7 Classic will be a flag football game featuringCrimson Tide lettermen in both a playing and coaching capacity.
