December 18, 2012TUSCALOOSA | After two weeks off, the University of Alabama returned to the practice field Tuesday in preparation for the BCS National Championship Game against Notre Dame. Here are a few observations from Tidesports.com:
Center Barrett Jones did not participate in practice and was instead in a non-contact jersey while operating a stationary bike. Jones sustained a foot injury in the SEC title game against Georgia. *** Receiver Kenny Bell (broken leg) was on a stationary bike as well. *** To varying degrees, Alabama's four players rehabbing season-ending knee injuries were on hand for practice. To what extent did they participate?
