BRISTOL, Conn. | ESPN's "College GameDay" program will kick off the season on Saturday, Sept. 1, in Arlington, Texas, for the game between the University of Alabama and Michigan in the Cowboys Classic.

The program will start at 8 a.m. on ESPNU and switch to ESPN an hour later. Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack will be featured on the ESPN portion of the telecast, with Samantha Steele and Pollack on the early hour on ESPNU.

Scott Van Pelt, a studio host and ESPN radio personality, will also be on hand in Arlington. His radio show will originate from the East Plaza Lawn on the day before the game on the "College GameDay on ESPN Radio" set. The radio game-day program will air from noon to 3 p.m. on the day of the game from outside Cowyboys Stadium, with host Ryen Russillo and analysts Trevor Matich and Brad Edwards.
