April 10, 2012TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama began A-Day week preparations Tuesday with the 13th of 15 spring practices at the Thomas-Drew Practice Facility. Here are some observations from the media viewing period from Tidesports.com:
*** The four players who suffered minor injuries in the second scrimmage (Jesse Williams, Vinnie Sunseri, Robert Lester, Caleb Castille) were all practicing with no apparent trouble on Tuesday.
*** QB Phillip Sims continued to be a bystander during individual drills with a sore throwing shoulder.
*** Reserve OL Arie Kouandjio was on a stationary bike Tuesday once again.
*** Injured running backs Eddie Lacy (toe) and Blake Sims (hip) were in black (non-contact) jerseys, as they have been throughout spring drills.
*** Suspended wide receivers Duron Carter, Michael Bowman and Ronald Carswell were again not at practice.
