Lee stays home and becomes a Trojan
The long road led to home for Gardena (Calif.) athlete Marqise Lee.
Lee committed to hometown USC today. The addition of the four-star safety rounds out an already robust recruiting class.
Lee joins teammate George Former in joining the Trojans class. Former teammate Robert Woods is already on the USC roster.
Woods and Farmer made their announcements well ahead of signing day, but Lee held out.
In securing Lee's commitment, USC had to beat out several top Pac-10 programs, including Oregon.
Though he also starred on Serra's high-powered offense, Lee is unlikely to join Woods and Farmer at wide receiver. Instead, he will help bolster the Trojans' secondary.
