Auburn loses starting punter

AuburnSports.com Punter Clinton Durst, one of the feel-good stories of the 2008 season, has left the team and doesn't plan to return, AuburnSports.com has confirmed.
A source close to the situation told AuburnSports.com that Durst left the team after not being put on scholarship for spring semester. Durst, who joined the team as a walk-on last spring, was promised a scholarship by Auburn's previous staff but that changed when Tommy Tuberville was replaced by Gene Chizik in December.
