Receivers steal the show on Day 4
A breezy afternoon turned hot at Prothro Field on Monday, but Mike Riley and the Oregon State football team didn't let up one bit. In fact, Riley was as animated as he has ever been, as far as practice goes. He was constantly getting on his players to move quicker and get things done more effectively. It's obvious there's a sense of urgency among the coaching staff, with the season-opener against Stanford just over three weeks away.
Lyle Moevao had arguably his best practice so far. After a sluggish start, in which he threw passes either too low or high, he heated up. He had some nice throws over the middle to Gabe Miller and Shane Morales.
