Alabama safety's stock continues to rise
One of the Wildcats' prime targets at defensive back for 2008 has been flying under the radar thus far, but that may not be the case for much longer.
Foley (Ala.) safety Robert Lester is a sleeper prospect who may be a bit underrated at two stars based on recent attention he's been drawing.
Lester (6-2, 205, 4.52) had two interceptions in the game, including one in the last minute that helped seal his team's 16-14 victory over Daphne.
Among those taking notice are Kentucky, South Carolina, Colorado, Mississippi State, South Florida and Marshall, all of which extended scholarship offers earlier this fall. Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Ole Miss have also been showing interest, and another major program just joined the list of offers.
