Michigan continued success recruiting the state of Texas, particularly the Houston area, in the class of 2008 when they received a verbal commitment from CyFair running back Sam McGuffie earlier this week. Hoping the trend continues, the Wolverines have started to more aggressively pursue Houston Yates defensive end Damion Square.

The 6-3, 270-pound Square was rumored recently to be nearing a decision, but after recent trips to Texas A&M and Alabama, the three-star prospect has decided to hold on a bit longer.
