Star shines among Elite
Lake Worth High School standout Star Jackson has seen his stock rise considerably since the May evaluation period where he went from a couple offers to the 20 he now holds. This week Jackson, 6-foot-3, 182-pounds, is in California for the Elite 11 quarterback camp and he's a star even among the nation's best.
"Jackson has impressive and probably better than some expected. I saw him Friday night at Florida where he was the best senior quarterback there and he continued his impressive performance so far this week. It's helped raise his stock in my opinion," Rivals.com expert J.C. Shurburtt said. "Monday night he was extremely accurate on his passes. He doesn't get enough credit for his arm strength but he has a good velocity on his throws. He's a terrific athlete but he's a quarterback who just so happens to be a good athlete not the other way around. His overall performance this summer has did a lot to help his national reputations.
