Marshall County linebacker Don'ta Hightower is one of the top defensive players in the state of Tennessee this recruiting period and the 6-foot-3, 248-pound Lewisburg native has already grabbed the attention of a number of college programs.

The Rivals.com three-star prospect currently has offers from Vanderbilt, Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn and Ole Miss and may have more on the way.

"I haven't had any new offers but I think Georgia Tech and Kentucky might possibly offer sometime soon," Hightower informed VandySports.com on Tuesday. "I'm planning on going down to Georgia Tech and visit in the next two weeks. I think Mississippi State and Louisville are starting to look at me a little bit more too.
