Love recruitment heats up
Mountain Brook offensive lineman Tyler Love is considered one of the nation's top prospects and his early offer list climbed to double digits before the end of March. Love, 6-foot-7, 285-pounds, received big news the past two weeks when four national powers threw their hats in the ring for the Rivals100 tackle.
"FSU and Nebraska sent me written offers two weeks ago and then early last week Miami did as well. Last Friday Coach (Pete) Carroll called my high school coach and told him to tell me USC wanted me. I had an offer," Love said. "They were huge because those are four of the biggest college programs in the country. I never expected this when my recruitment started. This has been a blessing and I'm enjoying the recruiting process. I'm just glad my hard work has paid off."
With Alabama's A-day game fast approaching Love has plans to make his third visit to the Capstone.
