Jackson likes Tech's new OC
McDonough (Ga.) Henry County wide receiver Chris Jackson, who is Georgia Tech's first commitment in the Class of 2008, has made the short trip to Atlanta to see a couple of the Jackets' spring practices this month. Jackson, who had originally committed in December, was looking forward to meeting Tech's new offensive coordinator, John Bond.
"Coach Bond is real nice and cool," Jackson said. "I also talked to my rececivers coach, Coach Geis, and hung around with Kyle Jackson. I also got to know some more of the players. It was real nice."
Jackson liked what Bond told him about his plans for the Tech offense.
"He told me they used to run two sets of wide receivers and now they're adding a third one in and how I would like it," Jackson said. "I like the new offense they're running. It's similar to my high school offense."
