Tide trying to get healthy for final push
While the Alabama Crimson Tide's recent rash of injuries on the offensive side of the ball doesn't quite meet up with what Mississippi State is dealing with this week, Mike Shula's team came out of last Saturday's win over Florida International with its fair share of sprains and bruises.
At his Tuesday press conference, Shula updated the statuses of quarterback John Parker Wilson (ankle), center Antoine Caldwell (ankle), guard B.J. Stabler (knee) wide receiver Keith Brown (knee) and kick returner Javier Arenas (shoulder) for this Saturday's meeting with Mississippi State (2-7, 0-5 in SEC) at Bryant-Denny Stadium (11:34 a.m. CT/LFS).
