Report Card: Special teams lead the way in grades

The numbers were far from pretty. Florida State set season lows for total yards (307), rushing yards (97), yards per carry (3.2) while scoring just one touchdown.
But, you have to take into consideration that FSU was starting a back-up quarterback in E.J. Manuel. While the sophomore signal-caller has starting experience from last season he hadn't played a meaningful snap this year.
Manuel and company were also facing arguably the ACC's hottest defense. Clemson has now held its last five opponents to 16 points or less.
