Visits, Dreams and Decisions for Wilson
Corona (Calif.) defensive end DeVante Wilson has a total of seven sacks and a scholarship offer from USC this season.
That's the best way to describe his rise to becoming one of the Inland Empire's most coveted recruits. Friday, he and the Panthers were humbled by Riverside King High School 35-28.
With the ball at mid field, Corona Eric Kyle broke a long touchdown run to tie the game 35-35 late in the fourth quarter. But 50-yards behind the play, a yellow flag fluttered in the night sky.
Wilson, playing tight end, provided Kyle with the lead block the official called holding. A questionable call, to say the least.
