The field of in-state quarterbacks hopeful of receiving an LSU scholarship offer narrowed in recent weeks when home-schooled signal caller Stevie Douglas of Clinton committed to Memphis.

Whether the Tigers choose to address one of their biggest needs in the Class of 2011 with a homegrown product is uncertain but one such player - Dak Prescott of Haughton - remains hopeful of landing such an offer.
