Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) Boyd Anderson linebacker Kent Turene did not have a ton of scholarship offers coming out of his junior season, but the 6-3, 230-pound prospect saw his recruitment take off this spring. He now holds more than 30 scholarship offers, including one from Purdue.

Also playing into Turene's current impressions of Purdue is a connection with one of the Boilermaker's young offensive players.
