Top JUCO WR ready for official visit
Gulf Coast Community College wide receiver Kelvin Bolden has taken two unofficial visits to Mississippi State already this season and in each of those trips expected to see an upset.
The six-foot, 165-pounder gave his commitment to the Bulldogs following their upset bid of LSU and also in attendance for their last game against Alabama. He is hoping to see his future team knock off the 20th-ranked Rebels Saturday when he takes his official visit.
"I am expecting them to upset Ole Miss," Bolden said. "I've was looking for them to upset LSU and Alabama but they are going to upset Ole Miss this weekend. I'm looking forward to it and looking forward to having a good time up there in Starkville."
Bolden will be making the trip up from Perkinston with teammates Vick Ballard and James Carmon, who will also be taking their official visits to the MSU campus. Bolden and Ballard are already on board with the Bulldogs and he expects other junior college stars like Carmon and Cameron Newton to follow suit.
"Mississippi State has already got some of the best recruits coming in," Bolden said. "I feel like I am going to be one of their best recruits. I feel like Vick is going to be one of their best recruits and James if he ever makes up his mind and also Cameron Newton if he comes in and wants to be apart of the rebuilding program and play for the top school in the state of Mississippi."
The Ocean Springs, Miss., native has had a firsthand view of Carmon's recruitment and expects him to be a Bulldog very soon.
